On November 9th, JC accepted the position as Executive Director for the Florida Commission for Marriage and Support Initiative for the State of FL. In addition, JC will evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs, interface with 18 Commissioners appointed by the Governor, President of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representatives.
JC is the right person @ the right time to implement a public information awareness campaign on the importance of marriage & saving the family along with building coalitions with the faith based community, nonprofit, public and private entities that support families.
We will miss her daily commitment to Living Stones but look forward to her assisting to build a statewide marriage initiative for the sake of our children.

Marriages Need Saving!
We as Americans need to start looking at how we view relationships. Our country is suffering as far as marriage is concerned. It is affecting our employment, jobs, schools, and homes. We need to get back to our roots of family traditions and values. Too many children suffering due to poverty levels, lack of education or enthusiasm for education, jobs being shipped abroad, too many divorces--no fault--it is somebody's fault. Let's get back to what made this country G-R-E-A-T!--God. patriotism, and caring. We can do it! Let's face it--the facts do not lie, more children raised in single households--70% of black babies born to unwed mothers, hence in poverty, 60% of black babies are in fatherless homes, the number of married household is below 50% not at 49.7% down from 52% just 5 years ago, 67% children raised in 2 parent household in 2004 compared with 85% in 1970, 60% of married couples between 20 and 25 divorce, cohabitation is no guarantee for marriage and likely will always end in divorce. Sad commentary on where our society is today. Many are also trying to redefine what family is--a definition God did not sanction. Help us to advocate for traditional marriages today---www.welivingstones.org.
